Vintage Fashion Help:)?

This year our Ring Banquet Theme is Clical Vintage. My plan is to go for the Audrey Hepburn--breakfast at Tiffany's look. However, i want to do a semi-formal version of it. I have a short black dress with like little pearls. Is there any other suggestions i should do? And what about my date, what should he wear?
