Is is true that CC De ville,Poisons Guitarist played on U2's Achtung Baby 1991/?On The Song Mysterious Ways?

Well, anyone know anything about this/ Poison were huge around the time of this album so I can see Bono trying to get CC to play on Mysterious Ways.Maybe they brought him up onstage one night to play it.Any info would be helpful -Thanks
