The mestizo myth is a lie?
i hear people always saying most latinos are indian and spanish. its just not true. the spanish were the minority and did not racially mix with indians like people think. im going to use puerto rico where the indian were thought to be dead, now this is puerto rico which is a small island and not alot of indians compared to mexico, central america and south america. most puerto rican have indian blood and some are predominatley indian. but in mexico, central american and south america indian were densly populated in these areas. some areas like the east coast of mexico, central america and south america and parts of the colombia and ecuador are dominated by black via slave routes and white via slave route, conquest but inland where most live mestizo are a minority among a indian majority. look at most mexicans and then look at a native american same race. mestizo is a culture as is the case where black mexicans from costa chica or pure blooded indian in d.f. consider themself mestizos
