I would go with the faster smaller drive for paging speed. If you need a lot of storage for your photographs, get yourself a large external USB drive (I have two, actually -- I use one 500 Gb as my main drive and periodically back it up on the other which is one Tb). Then, also for speed purposes, I would choose the Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T9300 (2.5GHz/800Mhz FSB/6MB cache).
