What type of Prelude is better?

Hi, I'm looking forward to buying a Honda Prelude. Although I don't know what one to get whether it's the Type R or SH. Which one would be better in performances. Also, I'm learning how to tune cars and taking an automotives course although I'd like a nice car to take to the garage to learn and also have a nice looking ride :). So, if anyone has either one of the two could you tell me which one is better? Please and thank you!
