Native Americans and First Nations?

Yup, I know about the obsession and I can honestly say I completely and absolutely disagree with you regarding this issue. Personally, I don't feel flattered when a group of people tries to mimic the ways of my people. I don't feel respected nor appreciated. I find it insulting and ignorant for non-Natives to attempt to take on Native ways as their own. You can keep your "Noble Savage" stereotype- I'm not a stereotype any more than I am a mascot. I am a PERSON. And you don't show respect by trying to steal someones culture.
